Inauguration of refurbished Kestle Kiosk

For the princely price of a pound, St Ewe Parish Council bought this old telephone box and, with a good bit of work by local volunteers, Terry, Allan & Alison, Kestle’s Kiosk is looking great. It was officially opened by local artist John Trend, who painted the lovely map that has already helped a few walkers through the hamlet.  In the bleak midwinter, a cheerful lighted Christmas Tree has also been seen inside!

Co-option of one Parish Councillor, 24 July

NOTICE OF CO-OPTION TO THE PARISH COUNCIL

One vacancy remains after the uncontested election of seven councillors for St Ewe Parish.  Two new councillors were co-opted at the 15 May meeting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, as provided by Section 21 of the Representation of the People Act 1985, that St Ewe Parish Council may fill the vacancy by co-option at its next meeting to be held on

24 JULY 2017.
