Country Fair – Factoid Number 2!

St Ewe Country Fair – 21st August 2016

Factoid Number 2

Did you know?

It is 21 years since the St Ewe Country Fair was first held!

From a small event it has now grown into a really busy show, easily providing a great family day out. Our last fair in 2014 attracted well over 1000 adults plus youngsters, not to mention those involved. It’s likely that the show has seen over 30,000 visitors in its time so far.

20 weeks to this year’s fair!

The St Ewe Country Fair returns after a break in 2015 and to countdown there will be a new factoid posted each week leading up to the event.

Please put the date in your diary.

Keep up to date — look out for these posts each week on Facebook and here on the St Ewe Parish website (www.st-ewe-parish.co.uk/news).

St Ewe Country Fair 2016

Great news, the Country fair will return again next year. Now that the fields have had a break, they will once again go into rotation cropping. This means we will be able to have access for parking and the committee are very grateful to Neil Parkhouse for enabling this.

Sunday 21st August 2016 is the likely date so put this in your diary!
A year off has given everyone a breather but we will have to work hard to get things up and running again. We’re going to need lots of help so don’t be shy about letting us know you can support the event. There are all sorts of jobs both before and during the event. The committee is meeting at 8pm on 1st September at the village hall to ‘regroup’ and set the ball rolling. If you fancy getting involved early on please come along.
Keep an eye on the St Ewe website and our Facebook page for updates.

Best Wishes,
John Dickinson
